How can a bridge be supported only with the force of tension?

As the guiding principle two-dimensional lace system was applied into tridimensional form. With the weaving method strings and intertwined and stretched between riverbanks and two supporting columns.
The pedestrian bridge structure is super light made of bamboo trunks connected with rope. For the ‘urban’ setting steel wire can be used.
Ephemeral appearance of the bridge is unobtrusive in nature and can be associated with traditional fisherman’s and farmers’ tools.
