Žiri Lace Timeline

Lacemaking is intertwined with Žiri space and culture and so does the Lace Timeline merge with the architecture of the Old School building. It shows typical motifs used in Žiri lace. Different periods and styles of lace are represented by historic flower pattern with broad tape and tallies, half stitch pattern by Frančiška Gantar, traditional Žiri flower ‘cvetka’, leaves by Primožič and contemporary flower that spills into the unknown future.
